Michael L. Trujillo is an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico where he holds a joint appointment in the department of American Studies and the Chicano/Hispano/Mexicano Studies program. Michael earned a doctorate (2005) in Anthropology at the University of Texas in Austin. His teaching and research areas include ethnography, critical regionalism/transnationalism, Chicana/o Studies, and the US-Mexico borderlands.
